UPSI Launch New Website

The new website of the Universities’ Police Science Institute went live on 14th October 2013.

The launch of the new site, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on UPSI’s management structure, areas of research and publications, is part of the institutes’ ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to academics and policy practitioners worldwide.

The website boasts a modern, user-friendly design and is divided into several sections including information about us and the team, our areas of research and partners, publications which can be read online or downloaded and a multimedia section containing our new video and podcast series. In the first of these new informative podcasts Prof Martin Innes, Director of the institute, discusses the government’s PREVENT counter-terrorism strategy, and in the video section distinguished American academic Randall Hopkins delivers a lecture on Violence as Emotional Dominance: Micro-sociological causes.

We will be adding new multimedia content weekly and at the end of October will be launching a new quarterly newsletter highlighting news, new research, videos and podcasts, to receive the newsletter please sign up to the mailing list by visiting our home page www.upsi.org.uk
